What I Love About Memere and Pepere's.

By: Cub.

The Toys (and Southern Living).

The Russian Chocolate.

(Umm ... okay so maybe Mom loves that, not Cub.)

Lots of grass on which to play.

Peculiar wildlife.

Lots of good food (and a bib with sleeves for extra protection).

And, of course,

Memere.

And Pepere.

  2. Beautiful. A relationship between a grandparent and a grandchild simply can't be explained. Love the pic with your mom and with your dad. How is he doing? Still praying.

Also...how do you pronounce memere and pepere? I don't think I'm saying it right in my head. Please fix it for me. :)

PS - A bib with sleeves!?!? GENIUS.

  3. Seriously--bib with sleeves!! We found it at a boutique in my hometown!

It's pronounced "mem-air" and "pep-air". :) It comes from my mom's french heritage. My father-in-law still says it wrong--and he's heard me say it a million times!!
