Rite of Passage.

Naomi now has her first pair of jellies.

Also known as the most uncomfortable, stiff, callous-inducing sandals ever created.

But oh, the CUTENESS!

(My first pair was clear. But I just had to do pink for Mouse.)

Did you ever have jellies as a kid?

  1. Of course!! In lots of colors! I still remember I was wearing clear ones with sparkles in them when I stepped on a bee and got stung!! That was the end of jellies for a while... :)

  2. I was a teenager. But yes, I remember them. If you didn't have a pair you just weren't fashionable!

  5. Oh yes! I remembering wearing them with dirty little feet and then as I started playing my cute, little jellies would turn into a container of sweaty mud!;) Lovely!

  6. Baby jellies!! Love. The left shoe of my favorite pair of jellies is still sitting atop my mom's porch after I lamely tossed it up there at the age of 7. Why, you ask? I have no idea. But there it sits. Sadness. Perhaps I shall pass on my love of jellies to E now that I know the baby variety exists!! :)

  7. I have lost track of how many times jellies have come back in style over the course of my lifetime. Which leads me to conclude that they never go out of style at all! I had them as a little girl, of course, but then I also had a pretty hot pair of platform jellies in junior high. That I wore with cut off jean shorts and a baby tee. Oh, the humanity!
