Not Good For Resale.

The other night I had this dream:

My husband and I are looking at a house and it's PERFECT! A big kitchen, great gathering room, large yard, inviting master suite ... we're simply in awe. As we go up the stairs to see the children's rooms, we ooo and ahhh at the view through the windows. We're shocked that something so nice could be in our price range!

Our realtor then suggests we check out one thing. She opens one of the doors next to the children's rooms.

And there is the garage.

Upstairs.

We push the button to open the overhead doors and sure enough, they open to reveal a dizzying view of the driveway, ten feet below.

We shake our heads and try to figure out how we could make this work. Okay, so we can't park in the garage. Meh! We can figure something else out, right? Right?? Upstairs shop? Basketball court??

Then our realtor tells us it miiiiiight not be so great for the resale value.

Oh, yeah. Good point.

Then I wake up, laughing my head off.

You can tell where most of my time and energy have been spent these past few weeks. I think it's time for a break!!

Have a lovely day. :)

  1. We need more storage in our home, and I recently had a dream that we had a huge storage room that I didn't know about. I was so excited. Then I woke up.

  4. I had to read this twice. The first time I missed the part about it being a dream and I sat here trying to figure out how a garage could be 10 feet off the ground. LOL! As you can tell, I'm exhausted. ;)

    Funny dream!
