I found ...What an excellent pediatrician you have! I found that Babywise wasn't necessarily the best fit for us in those early months, but--like you--in the later months I have found many of its concepts very helpful. FYI: there is a sequel to Babywise specifically for 5 months and on. I snagged a copy for cheap on Half.com and would recommend it (with a grain of salt, as always :)Lesliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09525890489342635502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-302096474119021505.post-25061348449739399482011-01-12T06:54:24.395-08:002011-01-12T06:54:24.395-08:00You're doing awesome. He needed a schedule and thrived on one too. My little baby girl is so different. She's flexible, easygoing, entertains herself, etc... She is on a routine of sorts that I let her determine, but she is by no means stuck to a strict schedule. It is always good to figure out what works best for each kid. My son is still very demanding and does not do well playing alone, but I still try and encourage it when I can. Those strong-willed ones demand a lot of you in so many ways, but they are also really fun to be around.Kristahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10854415507682597051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-302096474119021505.post-40359114714577021082011-01-11T20:17:00.452-08:002011-01-11T20:17:00.452-08:00She reminds me of E. I would always just tell her it'll be okay, I'll be right back. Eventually, she started believing me and stopped crying. Now, she just follows us everywhere. ;) She plays great on her own though, or with her big sister. She still gets mad when we explain her limits (trying to pull the night light out of the wall), but it gets better each time. She's learning.

It's so funny how the personalities of #1 and #2 are so different.

Best of luck with your new routine!Sassytimeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00246581282510233020noreply@blogger.com
